Greg began his career in search of the mind-expanding training that would unleash his creativity. So, naturally, he became an electrical engineer. It’s safe to say he’s the naming & branding community’s only Creative Director with an EE who possesses a unique combination of advanced technology knowledge and marketing insight. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland and initially specialized in the design and creation of enterprise data and telecommunications networks. After working with the U.S. Air Force, Marriot Corporation and early PC network pioneer Novell, Greg found a new passion. During the dot-com boom, he transitioned into product development and brand marketing, honing the lexicological creative chops to embark upon his own venture. (And yes, we just said lexicological.) Greg launched Zenmark in 1999 where he continues to drive the creative — and fix a faulty light socket or two. Greg lives in San Francisco with his wife and daughter.
